Symptoms of complex ovarian cyst

I’m 29 and was just diagnosed with my first ovarian cyst.

It’s a 4cm complex hemographic (has blood and solid matter inside) cyst and I’m in agony. Are these following symptoms normal?

-pain that comes and goes (usually occasional stabbing sensation on right side but sometimes dull ache)

-pulling sensation down my right leg and inner right thigh (especially if I’ve been sitting too long)

-lower back pain that radiates to left side and sometimes down left leg

-leg cramps (like I’ve been working my muscles too hard in both legs) and why would my left leg be affected (was told no cysts on my left ovary)

-SEVERE nausea. I can’t even finish my meals or drink much. I’ve lost 2 pounds this week b/c of it.

-pressure on bladder

the back pain, thigh pressure and nausea are the worst (the nausea topping the list).

I started my period on Thursday (I almost passed out due to the pain from cramps) and it only lasted 3 days-not the norm.

Is all this normal?

What are the symptoms of ovarian cancer

A cystic teratoma with a small Rokitansky nodu...
Image via Wikipedia

I often have leg pain & abdominal pain associated with indigestion and constipation which I have heard is often associated with ovarian cancer.

I am 23 and it seems as though the pain strikes right after my period for two weeks then goes away. This will go on for three-four months then I will have 2-3 months of no pain at all.

This has been going on for about a year now? Are the symptoms of ovarian cancer usualy like this and on that sort of a time frame?
