At the end of my rope with ovarian cysts
At the end of my rope with ovarian cysts? I have been having a lot of issues with ovarian cysts. In April 2010, I had a bilateral cystectomy. One cyst was removed from each ovary and they were complex dermoid cysts. They were large and painful. I was told to discontinue birth control pills for awhile and let my ovaries “heal and do what they do naturally” (my doctor’s words).
Anyway during 2010, I moved to another state and I decided to see what was going on with my body and make sure that I was still free of cysts. My new doctor put me on birth control pills (low dose) and also ordered an ultrasound. The ultrasound says that the cysts are back (not as big as before though). I am so frustrated. I am willing to do whatever therapies (conventional and unconventional) to get rid of these recurrent cysts.
I don’t want to undergo surgery again because it seemed like it didn’t help before. I am waiting on my doctor to refer me to someone and the wait is agonizing. Is there any help for ovarian cysts? The ones they said I have now are not really painful. I was sore after the trans-vaginal ultrasound but the pain is soreness, not major pain like it was the first time that I had this cyst issue.
I am at the end of my rope and willing to consider any and all treatments natural, conventional or otherwise. I would like some advice. I will be choosing a best answer. Thanks in advance for your time. Please help!

Wish there was a way to help, my friends going through a similar thing, theres nothing you can do. Other options are dangerous for fertility, I know its a pain but you really will have to wait and get them properly removed, they wont keep coming back forever. Sorry i couldnt help.
Have you contacted a Naturopathic doctor in your area? A great place to start. Also some general suggestions to bring balance to the body…
Cut out as much as possible:
Refined carbohydrates, Trans Fatty Acids (all oils that have been processed – Canola, corn, soy, etc.), Soy (in any form), Beans and Legumes
Some basic supplementation to assist in balancing hormones:
Cod liver oil capsules – up to 10-20,000 IUs per day
A good ‘green drink’ – health food stores – organic is best if you can find it. One serving per day in juice with fruit in blender
I use herbs that balance the Female system…many out there to work with. Start some reading or email me for specifics
Can also research using Castor Oil Paks over the ovaries &/or Liver area to help process excess estrogen and break down cysts…also helps with pain. Again look online for specifics on how to do this or email me.
Really also comes down to cleaning out the junk..eating better..moving your bowels at least twice daily and drinking more water. Exercise (cardio) and yoga are also very beneficial.
PS…never buy into the concept that there’s nothing you can do. EVER
